Real Madrid loanee surges up the U21 form rankings

Real Madrid loanee Martin Odegaard continues to shine for Real Sociedad, while England teammates Trent Alexander-Arnold and Tammy Abraham both feature, with Liverpool and Chelsea represented in the U21 form rankings.

10. Eduardo Camavinga - Rennes

Pushing up into the top 10, Rennes' teenage star Eduardo Camavinga foots the leaderboard with an average weighted rating of 7.21 from his last six league appearances. The 17-year-old has been in good form of late as Rennes aim to open up a gap between themselves and the relegation zone and has started each of their last three league wins.

9. Tammy Abraham - Chelsea

The Chelsea striker missed the 1-0 defeat to West Ham and the Blues were blunt going forward as a result. Tammy Abraham's rating remained at 7.26, but he tumbled down the standings as a result. If he misses tonight's welcome of Aston Villa then the England international comes out of contention for the U21 form rankings altogether.

8. Theo Hernandez - AC Milan

One of those to move above Abraham in the U21 form rankings is AC Milan's Theo Hernandez. The Serie A powerhouse may be faltering this season, but the Frenchman can take solace in his good personal form. Indeed, the left-back has garnered a weighted rating of 7.33 over his last six league meetings and risen to eighth as a result.

7. Jeff Reine-Adelaide - Lyon

The only new qualifier in this list, and the second Frenchman in succession, Jeff Reine-Adelaide was unable to help Lyon to victory against Lille on Tuesday night, but had impressed up until the home loss. Clutch goals in wins over Strasbourg and Nice, as well as a key assist against Toulouse, saw the 21-year-old return an average rating of 7.36 prior to the midweek defeat.

6. Trent Alexander-Arnold - Liverpool

Keeping his spot in sixth, despite a rating increase to 7.38, is Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold. The England international provided the assists for Virgil van Dijk's double at the weekend to take his total for the campaign to five to retain his place in the rankings.

5. Lautaro Martinez - Inter

A prominent feature on the U21 leaderboard, Lautaro Martinez continued his good goalscoring form at the weekend, netting his fourth and fifth goals in his last three competitive Inter appearances in a man of the match display against SPAL. It means the Argentine's average weighted rating over his last six league appearances is a commendable 7.40.

4. Pervis Estupinan - Osasuna

Another South American who has become a regular in the standings, Pervis Estupinan has continued to impress in an Osasuna shirt this season with his average weighted rating (7.42) and his position on the leaderboard (fourth) both rising from the last gameweek. This follows a man of the match display in their entertaining 4-2 win at Espanyol at the weekend, a game in which Estupinan provided an assist, his second of the season.

3. Marcus Rashford - Mancester United

Despite a rating increase to 7.48, Marcus Rashford has fallen to third on the U21 form rankings as he was unable to extend his good goalscoring form when Manchester United welcomed Aston Villa to Old Trafford on Sunday. That said, the England international will aim to get back among the goals against Tottenham on home turf tonight.

2. Martin Odegaard - Real Sociedad

Martin Odegaard became just the second player to earn a perfect WhoScored 10 rating in LaLiga match this season with a star showing in Real Sociedad's 4-1 win over Eibar on Saturday. It means the Norwegian's weighted rating is an impressive 7.73 over his last six league appearances as he continues to realise his potential on his loan spell.

1. Mounir Chouiar - Dijon

Keeping his place atop the U21 form standings is Dijon's Mounir Chouiar. The youngster's two league goals this season have come in his last six league outings and while his rating dropped to 7.81, he is still good value for his place as the in-form youngster in Europe's top five leagues. He'll hope to continue his good performances against Montpellier tonight.

Qualifying Rules
