Haaland rises to first as Man City dominate Premier League form rankings

Manchester City dominate the WhoScored form rankings with four players making the top 10. Saturday's opponents Liverpool are also represented in the standings, as are Brentford, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Everton and Chelsea.

10. Bryan Mbuemo (Brentford) - 7.41

Having placed second in the final form standings prior to the international break, Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo drops to 10th in the rankings having put in a disappointing display in the Bees' 3-0 loss at Liverpool. Both player and club will hope to return to form when Arsenal travel to west London on Saturday.

9. Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) - 7.44

Rising back into the top 10, Bukayo Saka put in a solid performance for Arsenal prior to the international break as the Gunners secured a routine 3-1 home win over Burnley. Saka claimed his fourth league assist of the season to come in at ninth in the WhoScored form standings.

8. Rodri (Manchester City) - 7.47

The first of four Manchester City players to make the top 10, the defending champions may have conceded late on at Chelsea last time out, but the 4-4 draw marked a solid showing from Rodri. The Spaniard scored his third league goal of the campaign to help rise into eighth on the leaderboard.

7. Conor Gallagher (Chelsea) - 7.54

Dropping from fourth to seventh, Conor Gallagher still boasts a fine form rating of 7.54 after another superb showing in a Chelsea shirt as the Blues came from behind to draw 4-4 with Manchester City earlier this month. Given Chelsea were prepared to sell the midfielder in the summer, he's proving a lot of doubters wrong this season.

6. Vitalii Mykolenko (Everton) - 7.55

Everton head into the weekend mired in the relegation zone following their 10-point deduction last week, though they won't be in the bottom three for long. Vitalii Mykolenko has risen up the form standings having netted his second goal of the campaign in the Toffees 3-2 win at Crystal Palace last time out and that has helped boost his WhoScored form rating from 7.39 to 7.55.

5. Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) - 7.56

The best rated centre-back in the Premier League this season ranks fifth on the form leaderboard. Virgil van Dijk looks back to his best in a Liverpool shirt and a form rating of 7.56 is testament to his excellent performances of late. He'll have his work cut out this weekend however as the Reds gear up for Saturday's trip to the Etihad Stadium.

4. Jeremy Doku (Manchester City) - 7.64

Knocked off top spot following a sub-par showing at Chelsea earlier this month, Jeremy Doku's form rating of 7.64 is still enough to retain a spot in the top five. The Belgian is set to start against Liverpool on Saturday, where he'll be up against Trent Alexander-Arnold, so a return to form is certainly on the cards.

3. Bernardo Silva (Manchester City) - 7.69

Pipping his club teammate to a spot on the podium, Bernardo Silva has been one of Manchester City's unsung heroes this season. The Portugal international has been directly involved in a goal in his last three league outings, scoring twice and providing two assists, while his two best rated performances of the campaign have come in his last three outings.

2. John McGinn (Aston Villa) - 7.69

Ensuring it's not a City-dominated top three is Aston Villa star John McGinn. The Scot headed into the international break on the back of a star player showing in Villa's comfortable 3-1 win over Fulham last time out, while the Villa midfielder has been directly involved in a goal in four of his last six outings, scoring twice.

1. Erling Haaland (Manchester City) - 7.71

Surging into top spot of the WhoScored form rankings is Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland. The Norway international has scored five goals and provided two assists across his last six outings, which includes player of the match performances at Manchester United and Chelsea. While he is a doubt for Saturday's game at Liverpool, Haaland will fancy his chances of adding to his 13 league goals should he be fit to face the Reds this weekend.
