WhoScored's Premier League Team of the Month: Man Utd pair Fernandes and Mazraoui feature
Manchester United and Brentford dominate the WhoScored Premier League Team of the Month with two players each. Ipswich, Fulham, Everton, Liverpool, Wolves, Tottenham and Brighton stars also make the cut in the team.
Arijanet Muric (Ipswich) – 7.22
Featuring between the sticks in this XI is Ipswich’s Arijanet Muric with a WhoScored rating of 7.22. Muric was vital for a Tractor Boys side that earned five points from their four games last month, making 16 saves across his four matches with the standout display coming in the 2-1 win at Tottenham.
Kenny Tete was solid from right-back for Fulham in November. While the Whites fell to a 4-1 home loss to Wolves last month, Tete chipped in with 17 tackles and interceptions combined, the seventh most, and provided his first assist of the season in November to help land a WhoScored rating of 7.38.
Nathan Collins (Brentford) – 7.61
The first of two Brentford players to make the Premier League Team of the Month, Nathan Collins, like Tete, registered his first assist of the season in November, that coming in Saturday’s 4-1 win over Leicester. Collins also made more clearances (32) than any other player to contribute to a WhoScored rating of 7.61.
James Tarkowski (Everton) – 7.37
Joining Collins in the middle of the park is Everton’s James Tarkowski, who makes the cut with a WhoScored rating of 7.37. The Toffees conceded just one goal in November, with the 32-year-old solid at the back having made 18 clearances to nail down his spot in the side.
Noussair Mazraoui (Manchester United) – 7.71
Rounding off the defence is the first of two Manchester United players with Noussair Mazraoui good value for his inclusion with a WhoScored rating of 7.71. The Moroccan finished November having made the second most tackles (14) in the division to secure a place in the XI.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) – 7.74
Mohamed Salah was directly involved in a goal in every league game in November, scoring four times and registering one assist as Liverpool claimed wins over Brighton, Aston Villa and Southampton. Five key passes and three dribbles saw the Egyptian return a WhoScored.com rating of 7.74.
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) – 7.84
Bruno Fernandes may have registered just one assist in November but it wasn’t for want of trying with the Manchester United man making more key passes (14) than any other player in the Premier League last month. Fernandes also netted twice to make the cut with a WhoScored rating of 7.84.
With a WhoScored rating of 7.93, Wolves star Matheus Cunha is the Premier League Player of the Month. While Cunha couldn’t help his side in Saturday’s 4-2 loss to Bournemouth, the Brazilian shone in November on the whole, scoring three times and providing three assists, while nine dribbles and four big chances created marked a fine month for the Wolves attacker.
Mikkel Damsgaard (Brentford) – 7.46
Featuring on the left is the second Brentford player to make the grade. Mikkel Damsgaard scored his first Premier League goal of his career in November, and followed that up with his fifth assist of the season in Saturday’s 4-1 win over Leicester. The Dane also made a commendable 11 tackles to help return a WhoScored rating of 7.46.
Dominic Solanke (Tottenham) – 7.78
The sole Tottenham representative is striker Dominic Solanke, who returned a WhoScored rating of 7.78 in November. Solanke netted twice last month, both of which came in the 4-1 home win over Aston Villa, and provided one assist, those coming from respective returns of 10 shots and two key passes.
Linking up with Solanke on the frontline is Brighton forward Joao Pedro, who earned a WhoScored rating of 7.70 in November. The Brazilian won two WhoScored Player of the Match awards last month, those coming in wins over Manchester City and Bournemouth, having directly contributed to four of five Seagulls goals, scoring twice.
