- St Johnstone boss Simo Valakari named three changes to the Saints side that succumbed to a late loss to St Mirren 3-2 at McDiarmid Park, before losing 2-1 to fellow strugglers Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday afternoon.
- Josh Rae continued in goal behind a back four containing the incoming Andre Raymond and Aaron Essel at full-backs, with Bozo Mikulic and Jack Sanders in the middle. The ineligible Lewis Neilson and Matt Smith dropped out of the starting eleven.
- Sven Sprangler joined Jason Holt in midfield, as Benji Kimpioka and Drey Wright moved out to the left and right flank respectively. Nicky Clark made way, as Adama Sidibeh and Makenzie Kirk lead the line for Saints at the weekend.
- Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin named three changes to the Terrors team that lost a seven-goal thriller 4-3 to Motherwell at Fir Park, before they held Celtic to a goalless draw at Tannadice on Sunday lunchtime.
- Jack Walton continued in goal behind Kevin Holt and Declan Gallagher. A change of shape meant that Emmanuel Adegboyega dropped out as the returning Will Ferry and Ryan Strain tucked in as full-backs. Vicko Sevelj was given the nod in the middle of the park once more alongside Luca Stephenson.
- Kai Fotheringham and Miller Thomson were handed rare starts, at David Babunski and the injured Louis Moult's expense. Glenn Middleton looked to provide the width, as sole striker Sam Dalby lead the line for the Tangerines once again.
