- Rangers boss Philippe Clement made three changes from the Gers came from behind to beat Motherwell 2-1 in the Scottish League Cup semi-final, before a 1-1 draw in Greece away to Olympiakos in the Europa League on Thursday night.
- Goalkeeper Jack Butland took the armband, as James Tavernier made way for Dujon Sterling to start at right-back. Robin Propper replaced Leon Balogun to partner John Souttar in defence, as Jefte continued at left-back.
- Connor Barron and Nico Raskin sat in front of the back four, with the injured Tom Lawrence being replaced by Mohamed Diomande. Nedim Bajrami and Vaclav Cerny supported Cyriel Dessers up front, who netted their midweek equaliser.
- Hearts boss Neil Critchley named two changes after the Jambos beat St Johnstone 2-1 at McDiarmid Park last Saturday afternoon, before they lost 2-0 to FC Heidenheim at Tynecastle in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night.
- Craig Gordon continued in goal behind Frankie Kent and Stephen Kingsley, who took Kye Rowles' place. Adam Forrester replaced Daniel Oyegoke's place at right-back in the only other alteration with James Penrice remaining at left-back.
