Torino are in talks with Corinthians to sign defensive midfielder Bruno Henrique, according to Tuttosport, via Football Italia.
Henrique, 25, has entered the final four months of his current deal with Corinthians and has attracted interest from Europe following his impressive start to the season in Brazil.
The 25-year-old is reported to have a €4m (£3.4m) release clause but Torino are hopeful of securing his services for half of that after seeing a deal to sign Mirko Valdifiori from Napoli stall.
Henrique is averaging a staggering 4.7 tackles per game in the Brazilian top flight this season, completing at least 13 more tackles than any other player in the division. Not only that, but no Corinthians player has scored more league goals than the defensive midfielder this season (4).
