Team News

Everton

Man Utd
- Abdoulaye Doucoure returns having served a one-match ban but may have to settle for a spot on the bench after Charly Alcaraz's superb showing at Crystal Palace last week.
- David Moyes could go with the same XI that started the victory at Selhurst Park last weekend.
- No fewer than eight players remain sidelined for the Toffees here.
- Ruben Amorim could be without no fewer than 11 players for Saturday's trip to Goodison Park.
- Amad is out for the rest of the season, which is a huge blow for Manchester United, but Amorim may recover Leny Yoro, Christian Eriksen and Manuel Ugarte here, the former pair having missed the 1-0 loss at Tottenham due to illness.
- A lack of senior options means Amorim may be forced to go with the same starting XI that lost at Spurs last weekend.
Moyes has 5 wins from 6 EPL games since he came back to Goodison Park.
Early KO / Everton double chance
Beto is in great form.
Everton DNB @ 1.75 Odds
Ruben Amorim is ready to quit as he has realised it will take years to rebuild this MU side and he has no money to spend. He has to sell before he can buy.Sporting want him back in the summer which would be a shock return.
@Marbella I agree, I think he's looking for a way out. The problems at Man United are too deep-rooted.
I think that if United lose this today, the Board pulls the trigger on Amorim. I don't think it's his fault but that's what is going to happen. Too close to the Relegation Zone.
Easy win for Manchester United.
Ruben Amorim has a 42.86 win percentage, which is more than 10 percent below the figures returned by predecessors Ten Hag (54.69) and Solskjaer (54.17).
X/2
If Man U loses this as well, Amorims job security surely has to start looking a bit shaky, no?
@RedLei No chance, got to give him at least a summer transfer window so he can buy his own players
@Dobbo25 Why should you even let him buy his own players, if he's underperforming with the ones he's got? I like Amorim, but it's a bit of a dilemma.
@RedLei Because he has a fixed play style and doesn't care about any other play style, so he needs the players to fit it.
@RedLei Gotta have a lotta of faith that he's rally the right coach to turn the ship around, despite underperforming. Is he?
@RedLei I think yes
@RedLei Nah. This season is irrelevant. He wanted to join in the beginning of the next season so he could have a pre-season to actually train and sign the players he wants, but he could miss the chance to move to United, so he ended up moving midseason.
Before Amorim delivers his new Style of play as he promised,Man U. will find themselves in the relegation zone. Then the owners will realize that he needs a relief by giving him access to the summer budget to do as he pleases. Lol!
Easy comfortable win for the toffees. 6/4 is a very easy bet.
EVERTON Pickford, O'Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Garner, Gueye, Lindstrom, Harrison, Doucoure, Beto.
MAN UTD Onana, Dalot, Mazraoui, Maguire, De Ligt, Dorgu, Fernandes, Casemiro, Ugarte, Zirkzee, Hojlund.
Both teams have some key players missing,so a draw will make them both happy. But it still looks tricky, then I go for Man.U to win by 1-0. The owners told Amorim that the summer budget is limited, which means do your best,or look for another job when the season ends.
1X. Everton have taken points from many of the big teams this season. including Liverpool, Tottenham, Man City, Chelsea, and Arsenal. Man United have only won 3 out of 11 Premier League games since their last meeting on the 1st of December.
@Football666 But Man Utd is no longer a big team according to Amorim
draw, Moyes to keep ahead of United ;)
