Team News

Chelsea
West Ham
  • Benoit Badiashile, Wesley Fofana and Romeo Lavia are all ruled out due to injury.
  • Filip Jorgensen may come in for Robert Sanchez after the latter's howler against Manchester City last week.
  • Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Crysencio Summerville all face late fitness tests.
  • Konstantinos Mavropanos returns having served a ban, but Michail Antonio, Jean-Clair Todibo and Niclas Fullkrug are all injured.

Prediction

  • Chelsea were unable to hold out for a result at Manchester City last week, falling to a 3-1 loss and it means they have won only two of their last eight. That said, the Blues have been impressive at home this season.
  • Graham Potter returns to Stamford Bridge on Monday night but does so with his West Ham mired on a run of one win in their last six. The Hammers have won only three times on the road this season, one of which was at lowly Southampton.
  • Chelsea should have what it takes to get back to winning ways on Monday night.

  • Personally i will not be bothering with this game. Both teams in poor form and Potter taking over seems to have improved West Ham.

  • i think westham will put chelsea back in form I think the match will produce a red card

  • 15 of last 18 Chelsea games overall saw BTTS. Surprisingly, WestHam had scored in 12 of 13 away games this season regardless of the result. Right now, Westham had BTTS in 5 of last 6 in away games now. Lets also not forget Potter coming in as new coach and shown a great intent by drawing against Villa.
