Team News

Real Valladolid
Sevilla
  • Raul Moro remains out, and we're not expected to see him return before at least March.
  • Eray Comert and Cenk Ozkacar are also once again unavailable for the home side, but we could see the Valladolid duo before the end of the month.
  • Marcos Andre, who started in Valladolid's previous game, will miss the match due to suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season. Juanmi could replace him in the middle of the attack.
  • Jose Angel Carmona returns from suspension after missing Sevilla's previous game, but he might not make his way into the starting XI.
  • Albert Sambi Lokonga and Akor Adams both remain on the treatment table and aren't expected to return this month. Saul Niguez is also suspended for this one, leaving Sevilla short of options in midfield.
  • Tanguy Nianzou continues his recovery from a long-term injury, while Loic Bade will also serve a suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign. Kike Salas could come in to replace him at the back.

Prediction

  • Valladolid remain bottom of La Liga, eight points away from safety. The basement side are on a run of four losses in a row, scoring the least and conceding the most goals in the league this season.
  • Sevilla's unbeaten run of four games was ended last time out in La Liga after suffering a 4-1 defeat at home to Barcelona. Garcia Pimienta's side currently sit in 13th place, but they could climb to as high as seventh with a victory if results go their way.
  • When the two sides met earlier in the campaign, Sevilla secured a 2-1 victory at home thanks to a late winner from Chidera Ejuke. Valladolid haven't beaten Sevilla since 2012.
