Team News

Ross County
Dundee FC
  • Ross County boss Don Cowie made two changes after the Staggies lost 4-0 to Rangers at Ibrox, before bouncing back with a wonderful 3-0 win against Motherwell at Fir Park in their last Scottish Premiership match.
  • Jordan Amissah remained in goal as Jonathan Tomkinson, Elijah Campbell and Kacper Lopata started in the Staggies' defence. George Harmon came in at left wing-back, as Akil Wright started on the right-hand side.
  • Connor Randall sat in midfield alongside Nohan Kenneh and Noah Chilvers. George Robesten and Josh Nisbet dropped onto the bench, as Ronan Hale - who bagged a brace at the weekend against the Well - joined Kieran Phillips in attack.
  • Dundee manager Tony Docherty made a sole change from the Dee's 4-0 victory over Airdrieonians in the Scottish Cup, before a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Aberdeen at Dens Park last weekend in the Scottish Premiership.
  • Jon McCracken continued in goal, behind Aaron Donnelly, Antonio Portales and Clark Robertson in the Dee defence. Ziyad Larkeche started at left wing-back, with Josh Mulligan keeping his place on the right hand side.
  • The only alteration saw Mo Sylla partner Jordan McGhee in midfield. Scott Tiffoney was joined by Lyall Cameron, in support of former Staggies striker Simon Murray as Oluwaseun Adewumi made way in attack.

Prediction

  • A huge game at the foot of the Scottish Premiership takes place in Dingwall this weekend, as Ross County and Dundee go head-to-head in the Highlands.
  • Ross County were victorious at Fir Park in the Scottish Premiership for the first time since March 2022, having failed to win in five visits in just under three years, before a wonderful win at the weekend. Two points clear of Dundee in 11th spot, the Staggies could move five points clear of the Dee - who occupy the relegation playoff place - before this weekend's matches take place.
  • Dundee have conceded 55 goals, more than any other Scottish Premiership team so far this season, and have failed to score against the Staggies as they've lost both league meetings with Ross County in the 2024/25 campaign so far. A 2-0 loss in their last trip to Dingwall was succeeded by a 3-0 defeat at Dens on Boxing Day, with the Dee having won just once in the league this year.
  • The league's lowest-scoring team take on the team that's conceded the most goals in the division, so Ross County could pull five points clear of Dundee and set their sights on the top six with a win.
