Team News

AC Milan
Feyenoord
  • AC Milan have recovered Yunus Musah from suspension, which is a boost for the Italian side.
  • Ruben Loftus-Cheek is unlikely to return in time to feature in midweek, while Emerson Royal and Alessandro Florenzi are both ruled out due to injury.
  • Sergio Conceicao may name the same XI that started the 1-0 loss to Feyenoord last week.
  • Feyenoord have a host of players missing for their second leg meeting with AC Milan.
  • Ayase Ueda and Quinten Timber both missed the 0-0 draw with NEC at the weekend having been forced off in last week's first leg, and the latter will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury.
  • Quilindschy Hartman is ineligible for Feyenoord, so Gijs Smal is set to start at left-back.

Prediction

  • AC Milan responded to their first leg loss to Feyenoord with a 1-0 win over Verona at the weekend. The Rossoneri are unbeaten in 12 at home heading into Tuesday's welcome of Feyenoord.
  • The Dutch side may have a first leg advantage, but the 1-0 home win came at a cost. Feyenoord have struggled on the road in recent weeks having failed to win in five away matches.
  • Feyenoord will set out to frustrate AC Milan, but the Italian side should claim a win that sends them into the next round on Tuesday.

  • Maybe Milan's keeper is overrated too. Haven't seen the games but the first leg's only goal was his error and this time he made zero saves out of 1 on target. This was a knockout matchup against a team that could only muster 3 goals on target. I think he only plays for France out of lack of other options.

  • @tkr France has a lack of options? Seems highly unlikely. If it was Iceland you spoke of it would be believable.

  • @tkr wtf. So... have you even seen the shot? Maybe it was unsavable? That there was only one shot on target tells us nothing about his performance.

  • @RedLei I said I haven't seen the games. But you could you name me any French goalkeeper who plays for any top 4 clubs in in any of Europe's top 5 leagues? It's not to say that they're all bad but it certainly isn't a position with loads of great options to choose from. At least Whoscored stats agree that Theo and Maignan were the worst 2 players over both games.

  • I'm just so pissed off rn I can't even explain. Joao Felix had no business starting this game. I hate how coaches think players with big names automatically deserve starting spots, they would have looked much better without him. Milan plays better when Leao is the main man adding Felix to the miss just destroys the game. The Game should have been won in the first half I don't care what anyone says. They could have easily been 2 up if they took their chances but they were not sharp and paid for it, red card or not no way they should be losing this game

  • I told you guys: only the Milan's clueless, overly defensive Portugues coach could fuck this game up, and he most definitely did! He took off Pulisic in the 63' and Gimenez in the 71' to hold on to 1-0, only to allow a goal by Feyenoord in 73'. This is the definition of an overrated coach! By the way, I would expel all Portugues and Brazilian coaches from European leagues because they are all overrated! What a loser!

  • @Zoltan Sergio is not overrated at all. He is an amazing coach. Stop acting dumb. Milan was winning 1-0 and had 11 shots vs 2 it was going to win 2 or 3-0 but Theo Hernandez got sent off for trying to get a penalty.

  • @hellreaper he's not acting

  • @Zoltan Imagine blaming the coach for Milan missing every chance and getting a player sent off in the most idiotic way possible.

  • Feyenoord’s squad is so young, it’s crazy. Only 5 players 25+ and 1 above 27

  • @sarigginsUSA Exactly! Feyenoord had no business in qualifying tonight. But Concesiao did his best throughout the two games to make sure that they qualify. What a loser! I cannot fathom how come losers like him get payed exorbitant salaries for this type of garbage they present as coaches!

  • @Zoltan so what's keeping you from becoming a coach? And who is Concesiao?

  • Milan was going to qualify easily but Theo Hernandez got sent off for diving and this might mean they're out -.-'

  • 1-0

  • Gimenez +125 / Pulisic +150 TSA

  • Santiago Gimenez to score

  • @FerreiraCarrasco Good bet LOL literally 1 minute to payout

  • @FerreiraCarrasco ....or Pulisic

  • This Milan team looks overrated. Some quality names but they don't seem to play as a team. Feyenoord is missing a lot of key players: Trauner, Stengs, Hwang and they ofcourse sold Gimenez. They do have a 1-0 margin to work with. Maybe on the break they can create some danger with the likes of Paixao, Hadj-Moussa and Osman. I do expect to see a Milan team with much more energy than during the previous game. My guess that eventually in their own stadium Milan will turn things around. It will not be easy (as Lille won against Feyenoord) but they will get the job done

  • @StickandMove I just looked at the final lineup: Feyenoord's side is absolute garbage with one exception: the goalkeeper Wellenrautner. So, I think Feyenoord is absolutely overrated, not Milan! LOL

  • @Zoltan Don't know who is a bigger clown: Theo Hernandez or you. Feyenoord is missing up to like ten players

  • @Zoltan Do you even know what overrated means? Feyenoord won the first leg against all odds and today Milan are literally quoted 1.25 to win. If that Feyenoord side is garbage is due to injuries, it has nothing to do with “overrated”

  • The Feyenoord side is garbage with or without injuries! Gimenez was the last quality player they have sold and in a key moment on the top of it, allowing him to play against them and now he scored in the first minute. These are all signs that actually Feyenoord is overrated. Witnessing the sale of Gimenez in such a key moment makes me think that not only the entire team, but also the entire club management is garbage!

  • @Zoltan Take it easy brev. Feyenoord has a lot more quality players than you think. Take Quinten Timber for example

  • @StickandMove Why judge based on the away performance? If you look at players individually, Milan clearly has the edge. Where the problem lies is coaching: I think Concesiao is overrated, not the Milan team. Generally speaking, Portuguese coaches are not top notch as opposed to what the world thinks of them (just look at Amorim - does not seem to make a difference in Manchester United even though he does have a lot of talent at his hand: that's because Amorim does not have the magic how to mold together a lot of talent into a cohesive team with winning mindset). Even the most overrated Portuguese coach, Mourinho was world famous about his overly defensive mindset, which does not bode well in case your team clearly has the offensive advantage over the other team.

  • @Zoltan Nah brev@! Milan actually sucks as a team

  • @Zoltan Concesiao doesn't exist. You can be a Nazi without being a Grammar Nazi, dude.

  • Pulisic and Gimenez to score, Pavlovic MOM

  • AC Milan win but will it be enough to progress

  • 2:1

  • Walker has had a nightmare so far at Milan and was subbed off at half-time in their last match.

  • @Marbella he was MOM in last match ;)

  • Milan wins

  • ac half time full time
